OC HEALTH CHECK - PROSPECTIVE OWNERS

VCAT REPRESENTATION & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you legitimately owe fees and charges to your OC, we can't help unfortunately.  You should pay your fees on time.

However, if you believe that a VCAT matter has been unfairly brought before you, then we will at no cost, and obligation free, perform a high level review of any documents provided by you.

OCs sometimes choose to engage lawyers to represent them for the recovery of OC Fees.  This is their prerogative.  Doing so can be unnecessarily costly, and OCs sometimes do so on the understanding that all legal expenses may be charged to the lot.  This isn't always 100% true.  Owners do not have to pay legal/debt recovery costs unless an amount equal to such costs is awarded at VCAT as a Costs Order.

Further, regardless of what your OC has contracted other parties to do at a fee, your lot may not be on-charged for third party charges - ie, your lot account cannot be charged for the issuing of a Final Fee Notice or Legal Demand letters.
